Let the wife drive it ...

Ok guys I have a 2005 ti grey A/T all factory 8 that the wife took to work today cause her car was in the shop. Well the damage looks to be contained to only the front bumper. She aparently hit an India consulate in a parking lot.

Question 1: Any Idea what an OEM front bumper costs to have done at the dealer?

Question 2:Is the dealer the right thing to do or should I be looking for a bodyshop here in Houston.

Question 3: Should I scrap the factory replacement and go with a body kit.

P.S.
I couldnt get to mad at the wife as she bought me the car as a suprise Christmas gift. But damn I have had the car for 7 months and it only has 3k miles on it. Kinda sux to have a dented front bumper on a car I only drive on the weekends and keep garaged all week( I drive a company car as a daily beater).

Real easy part to even replace. Might want to look at getting one at Rosenthal if it is totalled. Or go for the Mazdaspeed front end that is pretty sexy.

Go for the mazdaspeed front when you replace it....I believe they come painted so you dont' have to worry about that cost

Get a bodykit. Also take this as a lesson, when wife's car is in the shop, rent her a car, don't let her drive yours. You see what happens. (=0P

Ok I Photochopped it

This is what a stock 8 would look like with the mazdaspeed front or there abouts.

Still say go for it ?

As I said or atleast I think i did about the same cost since one has to be painted and the other one comes painted.

i decided to not get the MS bumper, i have seen a car with just the front end and not the sides, it looks wrong.

I just need to say that I'm sorry...damage to my RX8 would be heartbreaking, specially if I wasn't the one to do it...

Poor thing looks lonely and sad in the garage.
