Hey Eric, I see. I'll see how these HID's work out. I have talked it over with my Girl and its just not worth it for me to spend $1,300+ on a MS front and not have the rest of the kit on the car. Plus its not fair to our baby (RX-8). BTW what track do you goto?

Shine can repair these pieces too. I managed to break my front lip by driving directly into a parking curb! Doh! The repaired piece looks as good as new! I was very surprised... You CAN break the nose because of how it mounts, being held by screws on either side forces to middle to bend unnaturally.

BTW-I keep trying to get Shine to make a full carbon fiber kit too! LOL I've seen them do the rears in CF and they do beautiful work!

It should be available from Shine Auto in the next few weeks. They're doing the molds right now. They will be able to make them in carbon fiber too, if someone wants that. Of course, the CF version wouldn't be flexible. The kit will come in black gel coat, and Shine's proprietary flexible hybrid fiberglass, for $800.
Front Lip $300
Side skirt (each) $175 (pair) $350
Rear (each) $75 (pair) $150
Total $800 for the entire kit (5 pieces)
Shipping to your destination of choice will vary, of course.

Contact Ken at Shine Auto Project at 909-773-0820 if you're interested
Any idea if the CF prices are the same?

Im actually interested in getting this kit, but w/o the front spoiler- -(I have the appearance package spoiler and like it)... Do you guys think it'll look funny with oem appearance front spoiler, then getting just the sideskirts from this kit? (and rear flares)

Here's a profile of my car, and then a profile of photomunkey's.....photochops appreciated if anyone is bored.

thanks.

Nice to see Shine making products for RX8's too. Not to ride their "*****" or anything like that, but some of you should really do some research on Shine Auto Project over at rx7club, they're quite reputable.

^i agree

since it sits right on top of the oem undertray i was thinking of putting some extra support around there some how.

i just need to know where photomunkey or anybody else who has the kit, drilled to mount the front lip. I would really like to get some pictures of the install.

i have the Evo-R version but its basically the same. it slides over top of the oem bumper held with some tape on the top part. then it gets screwed down in the fender well with 2 screws on each side.
