i was actually going to ask the price since i didn't see it (although i'm sure it's in one of the previous pages somewhere). $700? is that front and sides? i was just about to go with the evo-r front but this might not be a bad route either.

Just so you know, evo-r (KD-IV Type-I) and shineautoproject (KD-IV Type-II) are two different kits. The latter is also the only one with sides available.

Unless they changed the cost, the front lip, sides and rears were $800 shipped not $700.

i think i read that it is ok to leave them as it is, is that correct? anyone confirm?

man, this just got harder to figure out. i liked the fact that the evo-r was carbon fiber and could be installed and left unpainted and look good on a NG but the sides were an issue for me. i was thinking of doing the appearance package but $120 shipped from ebay (and no rears), i'd probably do the install, but it's just not what i want 100%. i like the shine sides a lot more but i was liking the idea of being able to do my own install both for satisfaction and the savings that could go to some suspension mods a little later on. just when i thought i had things almost figured out.

It should be available from Shine Auto in the next few weeks. They're doing the molds right now. They will be able to make them in carbon fiber too, if someone wants that. Of course, the CF version wouldn't be flexible. The kit will come in black gel coat, and Shine's proprietary flexible hybrid fiberglass, for $800.
Front Lip $300
Side skirt (each) $175 (pair) $350
Rear (each) $75 (pair) $150
Total $800 for the entire kit (5 pieces)
Shipping to your destination of choice will vary, of course.

Contact Ken at Shine Auto Project at 909-773-0820 if you're interested.

The $900 offer is for the ORIGINAL kit that Shine made their molds off of back in December last year. I purchased it and had it shipped from Japan so we could do this. The Shine pieces are made in flexible fiberglass. The KS-AUTO pieces I'm offering to you are the real JDM deal, with mounts and weatherstripping and nice instructions written in Japanese.

I have the Shine pieces on my car because I tend to drive over cones when I go drifting!

i'm a little confused. if we buy from shine it's $800 but you also still have the original for $900? not a bad deal for the original. i'm assuming that hasn't been painted yet and that doesn't include shipping, correct?

Not painted, not installed, other than to test-fit before making the molds, and doesn't include shipping. If you want to cry about shipping, check out what it costs to have a kit shipped from Japan, not to mention the time involved as everything has to be inspected at the port of entry now.

This is just taking up space in my garage, and I don't need to have a spare kit sitting around. Looks JUST LIKE the pieces on my car right now, only the JDM fiberglass is thicker and completely rigid.

I can have the guys at Shine box it, so it'll arrive without damage. I've got a guy in Vegas right now who might like it though, and since I have to go there for the SEMA show at the end of this month, he's got dibs at this moment. Unless he says otherwise... I've got an email pending with him to let him know he needs to make up his mind. JDM or replica... I just need it out of my garage!

hope to see some good pics at SEMA. i've been trying to figure out which kit to get for the last couple months but have been traveling that whole time and looks like that will continue until the end of the month anyway so timing is good for your other guy. if he drops out i'll start considering it but i'm not going to get my hopes up for the time being. i'm not 100% which route i want to go yet but this kit (shine's or original) look very nice.

He can't buy until the end of November, so it's anybody's ballgame before that. There's only one JDM kit at this price, then it's gone!

Call me at 760-799-0368 if you're interested.

As you can see, I haven't been trying all that hard to sell it. It'll sell when it sells, and that's about it. If it's around once you get your headlights straightened out (bTW-installing HIDs on a wiring system which is screwed up isn't a good idea, IMHO), you can get it then. If not, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I believe "photo" and I are the only ones with the whole kit. A few just purchased the front lip so it will be nice to have a third. Good Luck.
I also have the fuull kit. East install, did it all my self with simple hand tools. I actually need to purchase another front lip. Mine cracked at the track last week when I drove over a cone
