Fender Strakes and Clear Corners
Do you guys think Fender Strakes and Clear Corners will look good on a RX-8 with no appearance package? I know clear corners will be fine, but don't you guys think that fender strakes should be something to have with appearance package? It just completes the appearance package.
Anyways, give me a link/place where I can buy both for a good price and will come with everything I need. Thanks!

Hardhitter....go for it!!I think these additions will look great on your 8. These mods are not too extreme. They will improve and accentuate the lines of your 8.

No appearance package here - got custom strakes from DLS Customs (no bling here - shadowed strakes for me thank you) and clear corners from Huff when he was around.
I drive a Ti. See my sig.
Go for it. When you get those clear corners you won't believe the difference by the way. And the strakes - they go with the 'crease' that runs the length of the car on the quarter panels and doors.

I think I'd go with the aluminum strakes, or whatever they are made out of. I have a sunlight silver and I think they really work with the silvers, same with the clear corners, the clear corners blend in with the sunlight silvers.

I think I'm going to go through with it. Where is a good place to buy these mods? Also, do I need to buy a certain light to stay legal for clear corners? (California)
If you guys could give me a reputable place to buy from who has the best price, I'll purchase them soon. Thanks!

I have both on my Black 8...the strakes are expensive but really add to the car, the clear corners are more subtle but once you put them on, you'll wonder how you lived with the amber ones...
Also, in the DIY forum there's a whole process to take out the reflective mirrors in the clear corners, I like the way the look without them in there better...pretty easy to do, just a thought
