I hope you realize your buying a knock off of the MS kit.

If the company can't even put real pics of their kit online.. i wouldn't trust them.
Instead they're just using a stock photo of the real MS kit, and passing it on as their own.

Believe me, I understand were all of you are coming from. As an online seller, I join numerous of car groups to see what is being said. This forum stood out because it showed up in Google with my company name in it.

I also have a small shop here in NC and see many people get ripped off by "Shady dealers" on eBay, Yahoo and even here locally. I am not one of them. It took me a long time to earn a good rep online and off and I aim to keep it that way.

As for all the kits shown on the site, they are pictures of what it would look like fitted properly. Showing the kit image out of the box can be pulled from anywhere online also, so why fake the funk? These kits are exactly the same 7-layered, gel-coated as the brand named. Difference? These are overstocks and certified returns. That is why they are considerably less in price. So I look for the best quality with the best deal.

Keeping your ride in top conditon is no joke, so I don't mess with no one's money, ride nor time. Not to mention, I know some "Mazda-heads", ya'll some of the most finnicky tuners I know...almost like cats!

Is it so hard to just say you're selling a replica kit? For $400 or so.. thats a good and believable price from a replica, and alot of people on this board by replica kits... so no reason to hide it. No tard on earth is gonna believe they can get a real Mazdaspeed Kit for that price.

plus if people forked over money... and were willing to pay for the shipping AND restock fee to get their money back..... you kind of wonder if something was dreadfully wrong with the kits.

I understand your skeptacism. There is so many scams running around, it is hard to sift the wheat from the chaff. For most markets in wholesale and retail it works like this:

In North Carolina, there is a lot of textile manufacturing - before NAFTA. The clothing companies (i.e. Brooks Brothers, Tommy Hilfiger...) would order...say blue, long sleeve shirts - different sizes. These companies know the "margin for error" ratios, the ones that don't make the first cut. So to say if they ordered 10,000 shirts they only pay for the ones that make their standard. Let's say 9,000 make it and 1,000 don't.

The 1,000 that don't make it, are fairly decent but with very noticble defects. they make their way to tritary markets (dollar stores, flea markets, swap meets...). The 9,000 that do make the first cut gets the brand lable and re-inspected for a more scrutinized test. Now a smaller percentage doesn't make it - which varies on the company.

The 100, lets say, don't make it; they end up re-labled and sold in secondary markets. The original purchasing company rather get some money back rather than none at all. The other 8,900 get sold for the full retail price. Even then some defects slip in under the radar.

Then you have the overstocks that are re-labled and re-packaged then sold. Sometime the manufacturer makes a mistake and makes too many or the buyer changes their mind and orders less. In both cases the manufacturer wants to make some money rather than none, to recuperate the expenses.

Not to mention major manufacture making goods under another brand exclusivly for one retailer (i.e. Futura tires made by Cooper Tires). And so it goes in most markets. The trick is to find the good ones for a low price.

Didn't mean to give a econ/marketing lesson. The bottom line is - if you can't afford the real thing either 1). Save the pennies to get the real thing from the original manufacturer, or 2). Find a good "knock-off" or "over-stock" or "return" from a trusted distributer...which ain't easy.

You couldn't answer the simple question. IS YOUR KIT A REPLICA or the REAL THING???
If I were slightly interested in buying your kit before, based on your responses... i am now convinced i wouldn't.

We all know from your site that this is a replica kit. I can't belive its taking so long for you to say so.
1 - The real kit is about $3000, and is not overstocked
2 - You even said in your description "All fiberglass parts DO NOT come prepainted." - The Real MS Kit is prepainted
3 - Common F'ing Sense

As far as a replica kit goes, on your website you do not show your kit on an RX-8. Instead you're stealing a stock photo from mazda of the authentic MS kit. Like i said in my original post... if i were interested in buying a replica kit, thats enough to convince me not to buy yours.

You may now put away your sword and stop the crusade BigOLundh. As you so eargerly pointed out, oh so many times; this particular body kit is a REPLICA. Hence the description as "Mazdaspeed Styled". The REAL Mazdaspeed kit is Melton...as pointed out by dannobre, an ABS urethane and not fiberglass. This particular kit is layered fiberglass.
