Replacing my fuel injectors...

So, I am in the middle of replacing my fuel injectors, and ran into a slight problem...

It looks like the old shop Mazsport had replaced 4 of my injectors with others, cutting off the factory injector connector, and soldering on another connector of some sort.

not a mazda fuel injector connector! wires are spliced in center of photo

How the fuel injectors looked once I pulled them out. Secondarys are Denso part # 95500-0650

Both of the fuel injectors in the Primary 1 position are taken up by an Edge M000200 6054Q01552

Also this is not the Mazda standard Connector... So what should I do? Keep these in the Primary 1 Position, or replace them with standard Mazda Yellows... Anyone have a spare fuel injector wiring harness?

Look at the harness wiring attachment and then use the color code attachment to figure out the wire color.
I might use this as a reference to wire back in mazda connectors.

What are you going to use for engine management?

The connector is for Bosch fuel injectors. Easy to fix really....

I likely have connectors if you are stuck...but you can buy new ones for the Denso injectors quite easily

Ahh, Yes I seen these Denso injector connectors. I picked up some connectors for about $5 each and a legit crimper to crimp the pins on the wires. I seen some Denso connectors with pigtails also, but I'm not going that route.

I am going to use Mazdaedit for the engine management, and I will likely pay Brettus to help me tune.

Make sure you go back to stock high impedance injectors, the INTx would run low impedance ones as well...and I don't recall what those are. I think they are high impedance ones...but you need to be sure or your stock ECU will fry

Take it easy. Your question could have easily been answered if you had bothered to do a little searching, and because that is the case most people here will chew you out for not taking the time yourself.

OK, so I have spent a while working here and there on my car, and I have gotten the fuel injectors installed.
primary -> yellow
secondary -> blue
P2 -> blue

Also, the Int X removed, and the PCM computer all mounted with the proper brackets.

I was going to drain the gas tank by disconnecting the fuel line and letting the fuel pump run the gas into some cans. I think the gas is over 3 years old. and i ran into a problem.

The fuel pump didnt run. I dont remember that being a problem, so great. I attached power directly to the R/W pin, and the pump still didn't run , so it looks like I am pulling the fuel pump.

Here, I have now made progress on replacing the Fuel pump. This shows the way that I found my fuel pump system. (Mazsports old fuel mod) I have to find a suitable replacement fuel pump... Any suggestions?

RX8 custom Fuel solution. Fuel Out in center of ring. Fuel goes to injectors as well as the blue fuel pressure regulator. Overpressure Fuel can return directly to RX-8 tank.

Another shot of the Fuel Pressure regulator, Shown with the turbo pressure line attached.

The way I found the fuel pump. This was the Mazsports fuel Mod. Note, that the Filter is laying at the bottom of pump housing.

I took the fuel filter out, and was trying to ID it.

You could use a Deutchworks or Walbro or AEM. The pump that is in there is A Denso pump from a Supra.

As long as you plumb it the same and ensure the regulator is hooked up the same it will work great. The way that system was designed it gave you a rising rate system using the stock fuel return less system. Check that the regulator is working
