well the only "headers" i have seen for the 8 cost anywhere from 800 to 1500, and mostly everyone on here will say that they dont do anything, but if you got good results, thats awesome.

1stgen8, if you want to ask some people, i know road1will has good results, and staticlag does too, just read some peoples sigs and see what they got, dont be afraid to shoot them a pm, they wont mind.

I dont know of anyone else on the forum that has a AUTOEXE header. Is there anyone else? most people buy the obx and are furious because it does absolutely nothing.

I found one earlier....I'll see if I can find it again.

Edit....you could be the only one. Here is the link I found that goes on forever about headers.

yea, those headers claim 5-10, but no one on here likes them, maybe the AutoEXE is better, that is a good company

ok few updates ... first off girls in RX8s are my dream cause any girl smart enouph to drive a rotary is wifee material

secondly I dont think i had ignition problems. what I had at the dyno was a very restrictive intake and exhaust.

afterwards I put in a K&N high flow filter and ...... welll went really really really stupidly fast for an extended period of time. afterwards my exhaust wasnt that restrictive anymore.

With the addition of an rp supercat, I think I can get 200 whp and maybee a little more

there are ways of generating electricity form heat, if i can get it to work right I am going to put 2 yellow top optima batterys in my trunk and get rid of my alternator. I got it working in my last car and gained alot. I also have plans in the future for an electric ac pump in order to basically eliminate the need for belts.

Its a new thing many people are doing with civics these days but im not sure of the current draw of the rx8. ahh dreams

nothing wrong with your dyno figures - It's the dyno itself that is reading low
Dyno Dynamics typically reads 10-15 HP lower that Dynojet .
Your figures exactly match mine before I did any tuning although tuning gave us a better result than you got (189hp)

yeah afterwards i replaced the air filter with a high flow K& N and did a little drivign wiht some nice high reving to clear out the gunk in my exhaust

might be pretty close to that now...

If anyone knows anyone selling an rp supercat ... i think that will probably be the key to a nicer sound and a few needed HP

dyno dynamics reads the lowest in terms of whp but is said to be the most accurate +- 3%
