the AP masking appears to only be partially working. I believe they're working on it.
The masking is good enough to fool the scangauge, which tells me no pending CELs, but the car check engine light is on. The AP can read it though.
The only cel I have is for the missing air pump...

I guess if 'system too rich (bank 1)' was anything to worry about, somebody woulda told me.
Just now, I reinstalled my EMU (hopefully only temporarily) and uninstalled the AP. Car runs great now in full boost and is fast, but low rpm driving around is rich and stalling/backfiring even worse. I wish for now, I could use the AP turbo maps for low rpm driving and the EMU for boost.

Finally Boosted!!!!!!!
Logged Data
I am still working on getting my car started and running well after my turbo install. I am running the Turbo 3_0 AccessPORT flash calibration. I have driven my car exactly 3.4 miles since I reflashed it and I have started it a couple of times just to let it idle. The LTFT has not established yet and 50.2% on my datalogger is equal to an STFT/LTFT of zero
My idle intake manifold vacuum is between -80 & -90kPa on the boost controller and between 550 & 600mmHg on the boost gauge. The signal for both comes from the same source on the UIM. Based on the FSM these numbers are above spec. But could I have a vacuum leak?
Here is my setup:
Model: 2004 MT Turbo
MAF Tube ID: 3-3/8 ID (3.401")
MAF Tube Length: 6" total (3" before & after) Currently No Screen.
Injectors: 380 primary, 380 secondary, 720 primary 2
Attached is a Datalog I just did from cold start until it died. Thoughts?

The datalog seems to show slightly low calcload numbers for the amount of air that should be going by.
Where do you have the boost gauge plumbed?
I'll need to look at pictures of your install to get a feel for this system.

I didn't quote you in the above post, but was wondering what new calibrations? I always get your email and reply, but haven't got any replies from you since you sent me the first calibrations two weeks ago. Did you send me some? (SFU.ca)

Forgive me folks.
I have a REAL hard time keeping track of who is who between real names and screen names.
I'm not really sure of my own name at the moment.
The other problem, as Grouch found out, is that I have two different e-mail accounts associated with this whole deal - ap@mazdamaniac and jeff@mazdamaniac - and since either or both might be in the header, your SPAM filters might think my e-mails are re-directed pr0n or something. Especially since there are attachments.
Sorry for the confusion.

Regardless of size, here it is, working perfectly with the out of the box tune by Jeff.
Looks like 11.1 - 11.5 AFR during WOT. I wouldn't mind it a tad richer, but it's amazing how spot on it is for a tune without any customization. I'm using 3 2b map btw.

After about a day and four drive cycles from ice cold, my stft is starting to narrow down to zero (+/- under 10) but ltft is -20. I still can't go into boost, but last time I reflashed it took like five days before my car learned how to go into boost. I'm on the 3c0 calibration. Does everyone's car take so long to learn?

the greddy maf was OK. I could accelerate and go into boost, but the AFRs were too rich. See my previous video ... with the CAI (and this is the only thing that changed on the car) I now get normal AFRs in boost.

I could go into boost also after about five days worth of drive cycles, but I don't think it was 'ok' for me so unless somebody can confirm that the car can work perfectly with the greddy maf housing, I think I'm going to try and get a new intake similar to yours. I'd love my car to run like yours does in your most recent video.
