Now I know there are many threads stating that the Cobb Accessport is a good buy. Especially from MazdaManiac. However, my question is does it make a big difference on a car with significant mods? For example, I have a power pulley, intake, exhaust, headers, etc... Should I expect the 8% or so increase in hp that the websites suggest on a stock 8? Thanks for the help

 

It will allow you to maximize the results of you other mods....so it should work better than a bone stock car

 

you will likely see some increase in HP but that's also dependent on lots of other factors; coils, plugs, etc

the ability to increase OMP and decrease fan temps alone is worth the money for the AP.

 

You will get better MPG since she will run leaner.

 

I'd recommend reading the dozens of threads on the subject

you are running maybe 15whp over stock.

that is not really significant.
