After much reading and watching the video over and over, I came to the conclusion that I'm making this harder than it is. I'm waiting for my AP to get here and wanted to set up my engine in baseline in the meantime.
Questions:
1) Do I need data from the AP before I can set up the engine in Baseline?
2) How do you choose the manifold psi amounts? Kane used increments of 10 and Myriad.... used increments of 6 and 7 with 38 and 63 used twice.
B)Does having an A/T and a redline of 7500 affect these?
3) AP latency is 500?
4) Stock O2 sensor has a latency of______?
5) Target AFR 14.7 throughout?
6) MAF voltage the same on all RX 8's?
I feel like all this is right in front of me and I'm just blind and more difficult than it is.

1. no
2. you use your load scale. use what i used. it'll make sense when you have your ap.
2B. no. not that i'm aware of. it shouldn't.
3. if you log everything.
4. roughly 300 ms
5. you don't need to fill out the fuel map to maf scale unless you want to see your derivation from target afrs. but you will need to see your fuel map for that. so skip it for now. or just next through the wizard part.
6. i don't think you have to enter that when seting up your engine, do you?

Yes you need to put in MAF Voltage - and they are pretty much the same for each car.
Chey - the video would likely make more sense if you had your AP; but never fear; if you go to the AP Tunes thread that Myriadshalaks created you can see screen captures of the tune in AP.
It will help you visualize the load scale and MAF scale etc I think.

Once I get it, I'm sure I'll feel like a moron.

Guys, its no problem. I showed up late to the game. I'm doing sprints now to catch up. Finally got my home desk top ms access to work. I have the trial on my work comp and no access on my or the fiance's home laptop. So I'll be workin' on it after the 8 month old hell on wheels hits the sack.

Makes sense for the most part. Now here is where I get truly lost. Most likely because I don't have my AP yet. We set all this up, then we take our logs and somehow incorporate those to write our specific engine tunes. I may be getting ahead of myself but, I'm a little lost on tying the 2 together. I'm going to watch the vid again while setting my engine up in the wizard. I know I'm just making it harder than it is. I need to slow down and just simplify it. Stop reading into it all. Thanks for the patience and resistance to calling me a dumb ***.......lol

No problem - this is why this thread is here.
The short version is that you load your tune info into baseline - then it tells you what to change in the AP to get the AFR's that you want to have. You still have to go into the AP and make the changes - but this way you don't have to guess.

EDIT TO INCLUDE. I got all the way to the point of Carnie asking about importing logs. WHich I have to wait for my AP to finish that. I was able to do MAF Scale volts but, no gsec. Gsec come from data logs?

understanding most of it. I should have the AP back in my hands today and then I can learn the rest. OH, and that's awesome!

Heh, pretty much the same reason I havent dialed in the tune on the car. Its running and I have this dread I'm one screwup from blowing it up
