Well after searching around all morning, The soonest I could acquire a replacement kit was Monday.

I gave a call to Patrick(G3tR3DDY2GR3DDY) and he said he had the right rear caliper. So I drove the 2 hours to his house to pick it up.

Got everything installed, went for a short test drive, checked over everything, went for a longer test drive to embed the pads.

As of right now, the brake pedal has a softer initial pressure, but once you get passed that, it bite's hard

That's because the pistons/pads back off the rotor a bit more than OE which results in less drag at with a bit of softness taking up that clearance before they clamp down again

No to your first question, and no to your second question.

Edit: RB does make an aluminum caliper to fit the OE rotor, but it will not fit behind a 17x9 +45 RPF1.

it's not so much the offset as the wheel spoke placement/design

Some of the Enkei wheels also have a small inner barrel diameter near the spoke attachment area

Ok, thats correct it is smaller ID at the spokes.

So no go for this ones.

I tested some 4 pot brembo this weekend I had lying around, they are original from a Alfa Romeo 166 V6 3,2L.

Fitted almost perfect, only would need a adaptor to fit but will it be worth the trouble? they where ~1kg lighter.

will be around ~330whp when the car is finished and im afraid the perfectly good (for ~200whp) stock brakes wont be up for the task. really would like to stay with my RPF1 17".

Guess its up for testing when my car is ready.

didn't think to mention that RacingBrake has the caliper/hub dimension sheets linked in PDF format with the various RX8 kit listings
