DIY: How to change your rear brake pads.
How do you remove the brake caliper?
Sorry for hijacking, I'm a new user and searched everywhere and could not find any answers, but how do you remove the actual caliper? Ive tried everything to retract the piston, used a piston cube, even the disc caliper tool and nothing, I even opened the main reservoir and opened the bleeding screw...still nothing. My dust seal on the piston has torn too, so I'm just going to take the caliper into a brake specialist but cant actually get it off.
I have so far removed the caliper sliding pins and the tube that delivers the brake fluid to the caliper, but there's another tube (maybe for the e-brake?) that i cannot figure out how to remove. How do you remove it so I can finally release the caliper?
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

Yes. My trouble is the hand brake cable. I've removed the anchor bolts, I've removed the screw that connects the brake line to the caliper, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to remove the hand brake cable, which is my problem
