i had this exhaust and it has quite a loud deep tone in the 1-3.5k rpm range, but in the high rpms it has a unique high pitched tone that to me sounds like a formula 1 car. i loved the high rpm sound it made.

I have a neighbor that is running the Racing Beat single exit muffler and it's a turn down style exit pipe. In other words, it doesn't exit out of either of the exhaust shrouds. It is not exactly quiet, but he is still running the stock cat, mid-pipe and that keeps it down somewhat.
Looks kinda funky with no pipes exiting, but eventually he plans to screen off the shrouds with some black meshing and that will clean it up.
