Why must it be dual exhausts?
sure, single exhaust might look stupid, but if thats what you want. find the right way to do it.
yes, you cant get body kits with only one exhaust hole, have you thought about putting a pretend (but matching) exhaust tip on the back? solves all issues
weight. HP. looks.
yay

I. It just means it was designed with turbocharging in mind. Not exclusively for turbo cars.
Besides, there really would be no difference if a cat-back is for turbo or not, since all RX-8's are N/A so there is no difference, unless you happen to have a custom turbo system and didn't make the downpipe match-up with the stock exhaust for some reason.

The single side Hi-Power was designed for turbo applications, but also runs fine N/A. I have a Hi-Power on my N/A car and will use it when my car finally gets FI. It is listed as "off road" because on an N/A RX-8, it exceeds the 95 dB legal sound limit (in CA). It was measured at about 97 dB with the stock Cat. Although I'm a little biased, I think it sounds great N/A (XDEEDUBBX has a sound clip somewhere) and will sound even better with a turbo! I also have no problem with a single tip!
Now that would just look ridiculous! Who the hell wants a pipe running out the center of the crear? That's just wrong...and it also classifies itself under the retard family member group. The arm was put in the middle of their back,,,
i guess you've figured it out by now NaarLeven, the reason RX-8 comes with such a huge muffler (is it really 'dual' exhaust if it only has 1 big *** muffler but 2 outlets??) is to REDUCE noise. NA rotaries are some of the loudest engines around when not muffled. go to a local road race where rotaries are competing, and you'll hear them coming waaaay farther than any other car on the track, lol
