What tools do i need for my aem intake and agency power pulley.

Hey guys my order with my intake and pulley should arrive tommorow. In the mean time what tools do i need to install both? Also does anybody have simple or straightforward directions on how to install the Aem intake and agency power pulley? Thanx

are you buying them used?

otherwise the intake will come with instructions, not sure about the pulley

10mm socket and a philips head screw driver. Pretty much all you need to take an RX-8 apart.

yea, but 24MM socket for the pulley, and oh, use impact

Um, no

There are 4 10mm bolts holding the crank pulley- that huge nut is for the e-shaft.

The AP pulley doesn't come with instructions, so find the DIY

the 24mm is for the alternator nut, which you dont need to take off if you have the agency crank pulley. you need 12 and 17 mm sockets too

yes use impact, i didnt thats why im being charged $450 by the dealer to remove the broken bolts from my eccentric shaft. i think they might do it under warranty but im skeptic. anywho...................good luck, and make sure you check, after a week of putting on the pulley, that the bolts are still there or not loose.

? oh sorry, I had UR pulley, I had to get a 24 socket to remove the alternator pulley

use impact if u dont want to cry later

I believe they are referring to an impact gun.
