Don't buy one. I did, unfortunately. It is loud and sounds kind of ricey. The metal pipe gets crazy hot so it is just sucking in hot air to your engine. What I would do is get a ram air tube or the revi air duct(both just take air from front bumper directly into intake) and modify the stock intake by removing the baffles. I removed my VFAD aswell and used the ram air tube that came with the special weapon r intake. If you still want it, I have it and will sell it to you for $150 shipped with the intake assembled, clamps and the filter cleaner(im using the ram air tube). Most likely not, but thats why there is ebay.

you should get 2 of them - you'll be so popular. then you could get a fartcan exhaust and some awesome stickers of the brand names and put them on your bumper.

If you would have done just a LITTLE bit of searching, you could have answered your own question...

The SECRECT is......................... its a piece of junk.

Do a search and you will find out.

Get a Revi Intake from Racing Beat.

Obviously he did search on Google and he found the Weapon R Intake lol. Do a search on this site for intakes. Most people like the AEM intake or the Revi intake. Or, you can modify your stock intake to make it breathe better and then just add a K&N high flow filter. FYI, with this car, an aftermarket intake will not give you any noticable gains other then the gain in noise. If you want a different sound get an intake, if you are looking for power, dont waste your money.... yet.

I made the mistake of buying a weapon r hot air intake before I knew about this site, then turned around and bought the aem intake which I love.

The weapon r intake runs almost a constant temp of around 100* no matter how cold it gets, and the hotter it gets outside the hotter the intake gets. So say it's about 70* the intake would be around 110*, and all the heat really affected my performance.

The aem intake runs around 3-5* hotter then outside temps, and the max I seen while driving was around 7-10*.

Dude, there are six other intake threads on the first page of the "after market performance" forum -- which you are in!

To all the regulars out there... this intake question thing has got to stop, it's becoming an epidemic. Any time a new intake thread is started the moderators should just post a link to staiclag's thread and close it. Is there an intakes, intakes, intakes thread. That might help too.

Sheesh!
