Underdrive pulley track gains
Hello, everyone. I have a question. First of all, I have searched: pulleys, underdrive, underdrive pulleys, pulley track gains, pulley track, etc.. But, I am unable to find what I am looking for. I have deduced, from reading a lot of posts about pulleys that they don't really give you any noticable power gains. At the same time, lots of people are saying that the pulley kits allow them to rev their engines quicker. So my question is, has anyone noticed lower 1/4 mile times or any decrease in track times after installing a pulley kit? Anyone drop a couple of seconds at a road course, autocross, etc?? Thanks in advance for your comments.

I've been running the AP underdrive pulley and a knockoff of the unorthodox water and alternator pulleys as well.
At idle, it does rev a tad quicker but overall I didn't notice any gains in power or performance. I can't say my 1/4 mile time got any better as a result of the pulley. I was able to buy it second hand at a cheap price so I snagged it. Otherwise I'd have stuck with the stock pulleys.

I've bought Ralco pulley kit, smaller and super light, my car rev's 10 times faster, but I also got the flywheel. Less weight, smaller diameter will increase the rpms by not spinning as much mass, each pulley I took off that was stock and put it by it's counterpart, stock was about 3 to 4 times the weight of the underdrive pulley kit I put on. Only paid 99 for them, but what you want to know is did it make a difference, were I live we have a spot that goes for miles with no homes anywhere and I go and test there and what I got was about 8 mph increase in the section I test in, so whether it gave me more power, or just allowed my rpm's to rise faster it did improve the perfomance.
