87 has always been the best for naturally aspirated rotaries unless you could find something lower. High octane is a complete waste of money unless you are boosted.

Interesting... I hear a lot of people say that a lower octane fuel will provide better performance so long as you aren't running high enough compression to detonate on it. I think the actuality is that the highest compression you can run for a given octane without detonating will provide the best performance FOR THAT OCTANE RATING. That doesn't mean that running a lower octane will produce higher performance simply because you are closer to that fuel's ideal compression ratio.

Of course I could just be talking out of my ***

It's not a pissing contest. If someone doesn't agree with me, they're wrong. Simple really. It's always been that way. That's because I don't have opinions I have facts!

Nice numbers btw!

Hmmm... A/F never dips below 12.25 - nice. Almost 200 whp - also nice.

Couple questions:
1. What kind of gas mileage are you capable of (not how much do you get)? My personal best was 22.67 mpg all highway. Your afr's are pretty nice though!

2. You said you track the car. Do any drag runs for trap speeds? It's at least a secondary comparison. Did they just let up at 8600? If they stayed in it until 9000, would it have broken 200 whp? It looks like it just keeps climbing until they let off at the very end.

Nice numbers btw!

so do I; 220 rwhp NA on Cobb's Mustang dyno, and they proved it out so you can go call BS on Christian if you like

ultimately what you fail to realize is not what your results say, but that you never found what it takes to make it work

how about sharing the information for everybody . Now that you aren't even competing in that class anymore it can't hurt you .....
