Stock Resonator Delete?

Has anyone done a resonator delete on their stock exhaust? If so how does it sound? Im thinking about doing it this weekend.

You mean the resonator behind the cat? I'm not sure what you're talking about...

i beleave he is, it will get louder and add a lil hp but imo i would do a hig flow cat w/o the resonater. I went with super cat high flow and love it

what i mean is to keep the stock exhaust and only replace the resonator behind the cat with a straight pipe.

anyway i ended up trying it (only cost 40 bucks anyway) and there is only a slight difference in sound.

^you have to get rid of the cat to really open the exhaust up...resonators are there to avoid rasp...the cat is basically a restriction in the exhaust...get rid of that and you'll get noise and HP and FLAMES!!!!!

just pick up a high flow cat and you will be fine

^or could get a catless midpipe, keep the cat and just bolt it up for emissions...that's what i'm planningon doing with my midpipe....
