Search......

A quick search of "plug wires" found five threads, including one of frequent misfires and a CEL from 'Nology' wires, and melted plugs from others.....

Not to criticise those wires, they look very good.

I've had the Racing Beat on mine for like 6 months now. No problems. The problems that I have read with wires came from the "Nology" units.

The racingbeat wires are 8mm and those taylors are 10.5 and they say they can take more heat. The Taylors dont say what omh resistance it has tho.

I have the blue Taylor wires. Very nice, good quality, no CEL whatsoever. Idle is smoother, that's all I can feel different. Get them from their online store directly, it is cheaper.

PS Installation from the top is a major pain. I removed the air intake tube to do it and still took me 30 min. I recommend to remove the wheel for easier access.

Guess I am cynical. Every time I see a new thread that ask anyone change this,(especially with something not known to cause any improvement if you have no problems) seems to be from the person or company that list them on e-bay. Hey no problem if your selling, just don't try to be sneaky about it
