Performance ATF ?

Performance ATF ?
Did anybody change the ATF with something better (DextronIII equivalent) - and felt a difference? I am also thinking of a AT cooler - anybody installed on in the RX-8? Am thining to mount it in the passenger side empty bumper slot. Don't know what size fits there yet though.
