rx8 k&n apollo intake system

has anyone tried the k&n apollo intake on a rx8 before???

its half the price compared to the racing beat one.

can anyone give me some pointers please.

currently i'm using k&n panel filter with a duct connecting to the bumper for cold air.

Serious advice: the only reason to install an aftermarket intake is looks or making it easier to access parts under the intake.

No aftermarket intake will gain you power, the high quality ones are the same, and the lower priced ones cause power loss and often CELs. Stay with the great stock intake and save the cash for something else.
