RP Supercat??

I was just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem as me...I installed my Borla Exhaust along with the RP supercat at the same time about 8,000 miles ago...at around 7,000 miles there was a time where a HORRIBLE noise would occur from acceleration and approaching idle...there was a lot of salt on the road so I believed there might have been salt caught up in there somewhere...I stopped to take a look real quick and I see the cat area shaking and a blurrr of fumes showing along with the dreaded CEL light...the next day I took it to Midas and told them to take a look at it since they installed the system for me...they said that the problem was the heat shield rattling and told me that it was unnecessary...I told them to leave the heat shield on and tighten it...has anybody else experience this problem??

BTW it runs perfectly fine after that with no CEL light...but I found it awkward that all that annoyance was caused by a simple heat shield =\

The fumes also disappeared after the heat shield was tightened...maybe it was just heat being released and was visible because of the cold weather?? anyways...I also asked them to put another hangar to have more support...their answer was that there was no need
