Ahhm sorry 'bout that Chief!!!

I did write you down on my little bit of paper when I compiled the list, but somehow missed typing you in??! This isn't a list that means anything anyway.....I started this thread to show Richard that there is interest in a top quality aftermarket shifter. This list is just an indication to him of the number he needs to make in the first run, I suppose . The more the merrier!

Sometimes I've just got to go looking for things said about me! The dissappearing nylon shift bushings actually just happen with age, not abuse. They just seem to slowly disintegrate from the gear oil.

Wow, yours too?
As to the bushings, at present I'm making them from MDS impregnated Nylon 6/6. And they are servicable. If they aren't longlasting enough I shall make them from Aluminum Silicon Bronze.

If I can get five years out of one I'll be happy, RG. If a metal one hits the market, I'll try it. I like the idea of a metal one for a more direct feel.....although I'd remove it again if the transmitted noise turned out to be excessive.

Magix, the only way I know to reduce the size is ti e mail them. How about I copy you at the same time? But I don't have an e mail for you do I? Send it PM. I will not hav4e the pictures back for at least two hours anyway. It rained like hell here last night and my garage flooded so it is hard to get out the front gate. Had to dig out my Wellies.
