Hi everyone, I will be doing a group buy and at that time is when I will have the pipes mandrel bent. This will save everyone more money. I will be doing slip over at the Y-pipe and V-band at the 2.5" to 2" reducer.

Just imagine a pipe with no weld lines on it and thats how it'll look...lol

For the header, I hope to have it done by the end of the year. Im still working on the exhaust flange that will allow me to split the siamese port with out causing interferance to airflow.
Sorry for the delay, but however the cat-back makes good power and it helps the motor pull all the way to redline. The dyno shows on the addition of the cat-back. Their was no intake or any other modification done in between. I had the volks rims on the car for both the pre and post exhaust dynos.

I do not have a projected price for the full system. But for the catback, it will be listed on my website. The group buy will happen on www.rotarycarclub.com

imput1234,

Honestly I would go with whoever is already making a single. My system is designed for dual set-up. (HKS, Racing Beat).

Price is on website, the production run will be mandrel bent and polished. Also comes with New rubber hangers so you dont have to modify your stock ones.

I will be doing a group buy on rotary car club.

Thank you dozer, so I did some research and I have to say the exhaust has awsome top end power.

I did some calculations and it appears that it will help the rx8 match the speed of a porsche boxter up to about 110 then the rx8 did pull away up untill top of 4th (per the calculations). I have no calculation for 5th gear yet against the porsche's numbers. Also the calculations were even better for the rx8 in 4th gear compared to a 2001 to 2004 mustang GT. The calculations showed that it is also pretty much even with an auto c4 corvette, however the calculations for 5th favored the c4.

hehehe ;P

Header will be released summer next year. I'm to busy working on the RX7 side of the business because thats where the moneys at. Once I finish my project on the RX7 side of the business I'll jump back on the header. So I wouldn't expect anything until summer 09. Besides, I don't know how many people would be willing to invest nearly 2.5k for a complete exhaust system. I'll just have to see what the final results are when it's done, but the parts alone are high quality and thats why its expensive, since it's dual exhaust, its twice the material and thats what drives the price up.

Sorry about the delay, I have love for the RX8, but I have more love for what sells and pay's my bills...lol

Another update, using twin cats. Each rotor will have its own cat. I do not see much of a restriction and it helps with the smell....lol

Thanks BlackRx82006

I'm going to submit the weight of the exhaust to the thread on exhuast weights.

It is off my car right now because I had to put my stock exhaust back on for warrantee work.

I'll be waiting for the exhaust specs. I'm still on a stock exhaust and looking around. I almost have my mind set (won't spam your thread with other manufacturers), but I'd love to see the specs on this and maybe compare the two.

Please, post the specs in here as well. I'm waiting!!

LOL, The RX-7 sales is whats funding RX-8 development!!!

The RX7 market is very strong, even when they go to a v8, I still sell other parts like engine hood dampers and suspension pieces.

Anyways, in order of priority.

Finish fd vmounts.
Finish RX8 off the shelf big brake upgrade kit.
Finish Dual headers and midpipe.
Finish Eaton TVS s/c kit.

There, Ive still have a years worth of work.....lol

You wanted single exit for looks, but like this because it is dual? Am I missing something here? Also good bump.
