REVi Ram Air Duct and Revi filterbox.
Today I installed the REVi filterbox in my RX-8, and I'm not sure if I like the "throaty" sound. Will there be more or less sound if I also buy the REVi Ram Air Duct?
Thanks,

Air duct + REvi is a GREAT combination. Subtle yet agressive when you're WOT.

if anything, it'll be a bit more since you're now creating a funnel to the air intake via the duct. But I'd assume only if you're near the front end of the car.

The intake sound also diminishes when you put a higher flowing exhaust on. Decrease in back pressure makes it a little quieter. But then you have the exhaust, so its a whole 'nother can of worms.

why are you worried about a slight increase in sound - then go ahead and install a catback? The catback doesn't do much besides change the way the car sounds...
After driving aroud a bit with the REVi I have gotten used to it. The most positive thing with it is that my idle's smoother, and that my car actually starts easier

^ trust me that intake is quiet compared to all the other ones on the market... On my old AT i put a Revi on it and it was quiet and I liked that sound of it!! since trading it in I have the AEM and the new MS Sport Catback and trust me your car is quiet compared to mine... When I go WOT through an underpass it is ridiculously loud..... the revi and duct would be a good investment though as you know does little to nothing for our cars...
