Im trying to understand how they're re-using the OE screen assembly, the typical aftermarket MAF tubes are 3.5" OD i.e., AEM etc., but the OE screen frame is roughly 3.75" OD. I don't want to damage or modify the OE screen for a custom intake system. I saw a pic that looked like maybe RB had a sleeve that the OE screen slipped into, which then clamped onto the two tube ends.
the simple solution for me is probably just to buy similar sized hardware cloth, wrap it around the tube end, slide a silicone hose coupler over it, and clamp it down.
