RB Ram air question

I tried searching but wasn't able to come up with any info regarding whether or not having the front license plate blocks airflow to the Ram Air component of the intake. From pictures I have seen without the license plate it looks like it would be right in the way. If this has been discussed before, sorry.

Yeah I am referring to the Racing Beat intake. I have been debating which to go with, but am leaning toward the RB setup, because it is pulling the cool air while the filter is set back away from the elements, as opposed to the Mazdaspeed or AEM intakes. I just was reluctant because in VA we have to have the front license plates, and they cover a decent part of where the air would be coming in.

The duct fills up the entire opening in the top front bumper under the license plate

The lic plate doesn't block it. The RAM air scoops low and opens up just under where the plate is. Basically it's not an obstruction. No worries.

EDIT: I have one and installed it myself. 100% positive about this.

Awesome. Thanks for the quick responses. I think I am going that route then. Probably going to do the RB exhaust as well. My baby needs a little more growl.
