New Air Pump

My air pump went out on my 2010 R3 and my county doesn't require emissions so I wasn't going to worry about it, but a 2005 is being parted out and I can get his pump for 60 bucks. I didn't want to turn that down. My question is will it work on my car? I looked up part numbers and the numbers are mostly the same. Just a letter difference. I know that could make a world of difference, but I'm just hoping.....
Has anyone done this?

it looks like the actual air pump is the same, so it will work. there is a different part number, for the whole assembly, so if there is a difference it's in the bracket or something

I am not sure if the air pump qualifies but major emission components are covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles under the EPA mandated warranties. You might want to look that up or ask.
