I don't have either but I am going with the Racing beat as my next mod. Reasons:

1. it is a 3in exhaust
2. it isn't honda civic loud

Good luck!

Since you're only interested in sound and since you've only listed two options...

i say Borla.

Tanabe Ultra Medallion is my favorite exhaust for sound. Perhaps not the best for flow as some have reported better flow from other exhausts (hks Hi power)

it is a bit more expensive than the choices you've listed but the tanabe mated w/a midpipe sounds beautiful IMO.

it sounds awesome
low Rpm sounds deep, and a little loud on high rmp
good for street use =)

+1 for Borla. Power is nice, and it sounds like a tiger having sex with a stegosaurus. <--Epic.

i would recommend thinking ahead of future mods you would possibly consider after you get an exhaust..and pick the exhaust that will compliment the rest of your mods.

ie) "i like the borla but what if i get a midpipe down the road...will i still like the sound it produces?"

GO BORLA! I have been using borla for the past 2 years and still loving it. It sounds amazing! I havnt had a problem with it but it does come with a 1,000,000 mile warranty if something ever happens.

-If you're keeping your cat then Borla FTW

-If you're getting a racing pipe Borla drones (no idea if RB is any good with a pipe)

-If your'e getting a dual resonated midpipe then Borla FTW AGAIN!
