Racingbeat vs Borla exhaust

Hi there!
I am torn between these two exhaust. Im not sure which one to get
THis is a reference to sound.
So help me out with your opinions :)

DarthRX8 03-17-2009 11:55 AM

I don't have either but I am going with the Racing beat as my next mod. Reasons:

1. it is a 3in exhaust
2. it isn't honda civic loud

Good luck!

:banghead:

Since you're only interested in sound and since you've only listed two options...

i say Borla.

DarthRX8 03-17-2009 12:11 PM

thats all an exhaust is really going to give you anyway, unless you go catless.... :spank:

Well you can always chime in another option
these i found are the deepest tone and i like em

Tanabe Ultra Medallion is my favorite exhaust for sound. Perhaps not the best for flow as some have reported better flow from other exhausts (hks Hi power)

it is a bit more expensive than the choices you've listed but the tanabe mated w/a midpipe sounds beautiful IMO.

I say Borla too, I'm using it for 2 years from now
it sounds awesome
low Rpm sounds deep, and a little loud on high rmp
good for street use =)

PRX8 03-17-2009 04:52 PM

I'd go Borla 100% but I ended up buying a greedy

xvickx 03-17-2009 05:47 PM

Cmon borla n rb owners! Battle it out!

HockeyRX-8 03-17-2009 05:50 PM

Borla FTW!

SiLVeRE8 03-17-2009 08:37 PM

had the Borla for 3 years and still loving it for the sound and the low profile look!

carbonRX8 03-17-2009 08:41 PM

I am going with RB as I was pleased with mine and my buddy's borla exhaust on his evo was crappy.

BWDIK?

Charlee 03-19-2009 02:47 PM

+1 for Borla. Power is nice, and it sounds like a tiger having sex with a stegosaurus. <--Epic. :smileysex

Atilla 03-19-2009 03:09 PM

i would recommend thinking ahead of future mods you would possibly consider after you get an exhaust..and pick the exhaust that will compliment the rest of your mods.

ie) "i like the borla but what if i get a midpipe down the road...will i still like the sound it produces?"

Jedi54 03-19-2009 03:39 PM

^^^ HEY, get out of here with your "LOGIC". ;)

(great suggestion btw)

lilring 03-19-2009 03:47 PM

GO BORLA! I have been using borla for the past 2 years and still loving it. It sounds amazing! I havnt had a problem with it but it does come with a 1,000,000 mile warranty if something ever happens.

ZumnRx8 03-19-2009 03:49 PM

BORLA SOUND>RACING BEAT
but really
RACING BEAT>BORLA

No one can argue with me

HockeyRX-8 03-19-2009 03:50 PM

^WRONG!! lol. The warranty is for 1,000,000 miles.

ZumnRx8 03-19-2009 03:53 PM

-If you're keeping your cat then Borla FTW

-If you're getting a racing pipe Borla drones (no idea if RB is any good with a pipe)

-If your'e getting a dual resonated midpipe then Borla FTW AGAIN!

lilring 03-19-2009 04:56 PM

BORLA wins all around.. just go BORLA!
