They said that they wanted to price it competitively... and I was like "what competition?" in my head.

they are going to kill the obx market..

i would think the price when all said and done. would be in the ~ 600 dollar range..

Just called RB and talked with them about this... Its still not ready for production. They only made enough prototypes for SSXI. The gentleman I talked to said that it will be priced at $495 not $350 like we heard yesterday....
He said to call back in 2 weeks they should have everything in order and the first production run underway.....

Damn misinformation... that's why I hate asking reps about prices and availability.

Probably a little bit more than two bucks and a smoke.
They locked the other thread!

Wait till Jorge sees that he won at $2.34............of which me and the OP were in on it, so I actually made $1.17! Woot!

$2.34 FTW!!!

when I was down at RB a few weeks ago, they were saying they wanted it in the $400 - $500 range.

Unless I missed it somewhere.. I just want to know the difference in getting a RB header and say.. Fujita Engineering header? Knight Sports header? RE Amemiya Header? Serious question because I'm really curious. I'm not saying RB's parts aren't quality, because they are, but I want to know what really seperates their headers from the rest, you know?

The price it looks like. I believe the other headers are around 1k and Racing Beat hopefully is well under that price.

I am afraid of trying to unbolt my 4 year old cast iron manifold from my steel and aluminum engine.

What if I snap off a bolt head...

Thier header is emission compliant and dont throw any codes(CELs)...

Thanks for that Rotr8. Didn't know the other company's headers out there did that. But then again..Cobb could clear it. But I guess the last question remains in terms of horsepower...difference there?
