I am looking in to the R magic Mid Pipe and exhaust. Do you guys think it will be too loud? I want something which will enhance performance and would like to avoid increase in sound. Also will the change in mid pipe cause a CEL or its designed to match that off the stock?

 

if it gets rid of cat it will absolutly be loud. and it will also make your cel COME ON

 

guess i am sticking to the stock. cause cel scares me! more so than the sound. otherwise what type of exhaust is best for performance? any idea guys?

 

exhaust is not guna do much gain. rp supercat midpipe is always good not crazy loud either.

 

rp as in? i am farily new to rx8 mods. never had the urge for it until now....pls explain if possible.

... are all less expensive than the RMagic unit and will give similar power gains. Save your money if any of them will ship to where you are.

I have the RP unit, it will give you a little bit more power, and with the factory cat back it will not be too loud.

 

my idea is getting a Revi intake + Supercat Mid Pipe + RP or R Magic Exhaust kit. I also have other problems to worry about now cause past two weeks my cel came on twice with loss of power and followed by retard mode. so i am thinking a new cat and new exhaust will make things better.....
