IMO they are all worthless as far as HP is concerned. Many of them cause more problems than not. I would save all you money until your warranty is up then get the turbo/interceptor package.

Most people will stear you towards the REVI, AEM, and MS intakes. They all cost entirely too much for what you get and will give you 1 hp if your lucky.

That's not true. Several of them have shown several hp gain, not 1 hp. The AEm & Racing Beat have both shown dynoed results in the 8-9 hp range. Even the new Short Ram unit from K&N gave a 4 hp gain (see Import Tuner magazine article), and the REVi (without Ram Air Duct) similar gains in the most recent magazine. Polak did a writeup on the Racing Beat unit for RX Tuner & got measuable results in te 10 hp range. Price vs. performance is a personal decision, but hp gain is real.

In general the units out there are :

HKS
Racing Beat
AEM
K&N
(upcoming Mazdaspeed)

Depends if you want a short ram (inside the engine bay) get less hp, but installation is a bit easier, or cold air intake (varying definitions).

I went with the Simota Intake CF SR Intake. This is an intake that you need to do research on before buying it. There are a few threads that are 23+ pages and you should read em all. You can buy the intake from umnitza.com and it has a nice sound to it. Search my posts where I posted a video of mine.
