Pulley pulleys pulleys!

Greddy Pulley kit. They are great! unbelievable great!
They are not underdrive pulley cause they are the same size are original pulley, but they are light weight. very light!
after i install them:
1. no problem with battery and Aircond. cause it does not underdrive your car.
2. my car feel very light and rev friendly no more lack in 4AT
3. my car feel like its run on cream no petrol very smooth, i had very rough ride after installing spark cable, sport plugs, MS filter, may be due to gain in power, now everything gone smoother than original stock ride!

I had them installed before I opted for Rotary Xpert ones. I didn't notice dramatic changes, maybe a slight better revving. No CEL's though, but hard to install the alternator one.

Yes the alternator is tough unless a person uses an impact wrench to loosen.
Also is easier if it is loosened before loosening the belts.
I found installing the main drive pulley to be tougher with the Agency compared to the Unorthodox Racing.
There is less room to work with the bolts on the Agency main drive pulley.

link to GReddy pulley set- only $119 for all three. But that website says it slows down engine accessories, meaning it's underdriven. Hmmmmm

Have done a mod which turns fans on at idle which may be helping . I can't remember whether it is any worse than last year though.
I may just do a test of that mod to see if it really does help .

So my flywheel is done, and I'm so happy with the results I'm tjhinking of getting some pulleys so help improve things further.
Do people think its a worthwhile thing to do?
Any more reports of CELs or problems with the AP pulleys?
I obviously read all this but want to hear back from people who have had them for a while now.......

I've had my UR pulleys for over 20,000 miles. Just make sure you do the 20-break tap thing to reset the E-shaft after you do the install. You shouldn't have any CEL's if you do that procedure.

He would have more information on it, since he drives it daily.
I got to drive it the evening that he had it done, and the increased redline is probably the most noticeable to me. Cesar and I have alot of the same mods, his seems to just have a little more since you get to zoom a little farther on the power band. I know he is very happy with it, said it was the best mod he has done to date.

I have the RB Flash.
I love it. I definitely feel a difference.
There are certain streets that I drive all the time to/from work.
I'm very use to how hard I can get on the throttle when I'm making left or right turns.
Since I've had the flash, I can break the tires loose on turns that were never an issue before.
2 weeks ago I did an autocross practice day w/ 16 runs.
I've done a bunch of these, and I'm very familiar w/ my car.
I had to make several adjustments at the practice event, because in situations where I use to go full throttle out of a turn, I couldn't do that now.
I had to hold back a little.
The flash is not a bunch more power, and to be honest, I didn't notice much in straight line driving, especially at first.
Now, I definitely notice the changes that happened when I'm on the gas in the turns.
It's also nice to hit low 70's in 2nd gear.
Out of everything I've done to gain some hp, the RB Flash was definitely the most noticeable change.
In fact, the flash had more impact on the HP than the flywheel/pullies/exhaust combined.
Besides, when I go to a supercharger, I'm gonna need to replace the pullies w/ the stockers again.

oh, and for those who may then ask...could I exchange my stock ECU with Cesaralaniz's one...since he will lose this upgrade when he goes FI anyways..he has already told me that you can't switch ECU's from cars...since they are numbered for your specific car and can't be swapped....

Vivid racing - they were pretty good . If DPE stock it now get it there - top co. to deal with .
If you can wait a while I'll be selling mine when I get a S/C
BTW - I did test it yesterday (27 deg C ambient) & found the fans being on was not really helping the A/C . If I have the A/C on full the car gets too cold to be comfortable wether fans are on or not.

ha haha haa......... that's pretty funny hitting low 70's in 2nd gear.
2 nd gear is dependent upon your gear ratio. The gears are set to max 68 in 2nd. Physicall impossible to get more out of the gear. I think your seeing a speedo error.
What your saying is that I can put in a SC and get 80 out of 2nd gear.
Increased RPM or HP is not going to increase how fast you can go a gear.
But then again if your gear is in a tolerance range and it had the potential to do low 70's you should have seen that by just holding down the throttle and winding it out. It would have only taken longer without the RB flash.

They did raise the RPM limit 300 and since there is power there it can go to a higher MPH in 2nd.
If the RPM cut at 8,000 RPM that would effectively lower the speed that the car can go in that gear.
68 / 9,000 = approximately 0.00756
0.00756 x 9,300 = 70.308
If the tires are smaller then the speedometer is going to show a higher MPH than actual.
If the tires are larger the speedometer will show a smaller number than actual.
Rear gear ratio does not change the reading since the reading is pulled from the wheel revolutions at the wheel. (Pulled from the Mazmart shorter final gear thread).
A difference on the speedometer is common as there are so many variables. That is why a person going 5 MPH over the speed limit can easily be thrown out of court unless they admit to being over the speed limit. That is why they always ask, "do you know how fast you were going?"
