Mmmmm.... So nice and clean now.

Thanks Team for your input. I understood the last half of the sentence, could you elaborate on the "external air injection header" part?

This may be moot. I think I am giving up and getting it coated. I will appretiate the advice though. And if I may, I would recommend doing a true ceramic coat (based on TeamRX8's advice). I am getting the jethot for convience, speed and cost.

Here in Puerto Rico don't have many experience people with the 8 and I need to learn from you guys before buying the header.

So keep the topic in its place. I was almost convice on buying the obx header but still on the doubt.
HELP! What Should I do? NEED RESULTS.

Muchas gracias por su antencion y les deseo una feliz navidad lleno de salud y amor (Thank you very much for your attention. Best wishes and a very happy christmas full of health and love). Just in case want to practice spanish.

I know, I know, I want answers too! I don't have the header back yet but I hope to have it by the end of the week. The machinist is an old friend that gets to things with a little less urgency than I prefer but the wait is worth it. He also said that he does not want to do any more of these as it was a royal pain to set up and machine. Good night and good luck!

Charlie..(marietta 8) will let us know as soon as he has any results. I was at his shop a week ago, and he was still waiting on the header to come back from his machinist buddy. he is just as anxious as the rest of us to see if it is worth the money. once it is on the car, it is a short drive over to his usual dyno, and he will let us all know. patience is a virtue.

No garage space to put header on, and haven't bought the midpipe (I want to do the full exhaust all at once).

But jesus christ people, some of you need to calm down. Beggers can't be choosers, you'll just have to wait or do it yourself.

OK, I got it. Steve did a beautiful job on the machine work and reitterated that he DID NOT want to do another! It is on the car and it fits great, sounds great (still as before) and there is MAY be some increase albeit small (just like with the Amemiya). Dynolab was closed and I expect will be closed through the holidays but as soon as they open back up the plan is to test back to back with RB exhaust and JIC titanium.

I could bullshit and say that my car is now a tire shredding road warrior now that the header is on but the bottom line is that it feels as good as ever and MAYBE a little better. Stay patient, when the dyno opens back up I'll strap it down and seek the truth as always.

Ya'll be safe out there tomorrow night and have a happy, safe New Year!

So, just how is that sound? I'm curious what a header sounds like on the Renesis. Any sound clips possible??? I could host the file.

It sounds about the same as it did before the header. The JIC sounds different to the RB. Both great in their own way but not east to describe. No sound available, sorry. I spend on car parts, tools, books and travel but not on electronics.

I know man! You still have that Tandy dont ya? Lol.
Maybe the header hi pro cat and 3 "header back system will give a little boost to what we have? Probaly will not be worth the money though. Now if you want to port and pu the stand alone on and tune---then that is a diferant story.
Happy New Year man stay safe.
