After looking at them they have to be real carbon fiber. You can see it in the weave. The way it is set up is it looks like they layed out a sheet of cf and coated it with some type of clear coat material and then lined the back of it with a 3m adhesive.

But until somebody can dispute this by looking at it in person I beleive it is real.

I dont want to brake any of the forums rules on soliciting products without being a sponsor. I hope I put that the right way...

I believe the rumor that he's eluding to is that the MS exhaust only changes the sound and has no performance benefits....

Talking New MAZDASPEED Accesories for RX-8

Just got wind from MNAO that there will be factory performance accessories/parts available soon...... including factory MAZDASPEED bodykit, flywheel, aluminum and magnesium wheels, stabilizer bars, suspension upgrades, and brake pad sets. These products should be available soon and will come will a warranty! So hold off on all those plans you guys have and dont void out your warranty!

None of the parts you mentioned should void your warranty.

BTW, I seriously doubt there will be magnesium wheels available for street apps.

All that said I am still looking forward to increased availability of Mazdaspeed stuff here in the States.

Was at the dealer yesterday for a test drive. I asked em about what's coming out in the future. He gave me the MazdaSpeed Dealer part sheet. With everything that was listed above.

As for the Turbo. He said next year they are coming out with a RX-8 Turbo. And for current owners, you will be able to purchase the mazdaspeed turbo upgrade.
