Hey im new, i dont drive an rx-8 but have a friend that does. Well lets just say his family is loaded and he needs some boost under that hood bad, he cant keep up with my Z if his life depended on it! I dont want him faster haha jk, im going twins in 4 months so he wont be able 2. Anyways sorry off track

I would like to see some videos of Greddy turbo in action, some spool sounds, anything you got. Would also love to hear feedback on kit, etc. If its not what I like then im telling him to send his car to Ca. to a company that builds engines and twins for cars, and its gonna be REALLY expensive, but like i said hes loaded, im just looking for his easier way out.

(And why im referring it him as "I" is cause he doesnt know **** about cars, I do, just not rotories... anything else ive studied enough to know!)

I'm in Austin and have the Greddy kit, a few others in Dallas have the kit. Your friend could probably get a ride and see if he thinks it's enough power.

There's also a shop in Austin, PTP motorsports, that's almost done with their turbo kit that looks to be the best high hp kit around.

 

Actually I live in amarillo, but he lives in austin as well going to UT. Dunno if youve seen him, but hes got the body kit ****EDIT::: its the invader body kit:::EDIT**** anyways its black, full body kit, with yellow park lights in grill area. Hes mexican lol, thats for if youve ever seen his car haha. Anyways he lives in austin but here right now til the 8th then he goes back to school, ill tell him to check out ur car sometime

 

I had heard that Gotham racing was interested in building a custom turbo for the 8, but I don't know if that's still the case.
