Urgent Please Help
hello, I am currently taking off the REVi intake I had and putting the oem one. Everything turned out good, except there is a tube that seems to be cut off and I do not know where it should be reconnected.
I do not have the REvi instructions so I cannot look at them, does anyone know where this goes??
I am literally in the garage and my buddies are waiting for me. Anyone have any info, thanks

no its just a regular small black tube. It is connected to this sort of little black cylinder (boxy) looking thing thats about 2x1.5 inches. It is right next to the air flow sensor.

Tubing.....
You need about a foot of tubing, it connects the black cylinder to the throttlebody. You will see a small metal pipe it connects to, just behind and under the silver square throttle.

wow, this could have been so f-in helpfull about an hour ago. well now i know what i need for tommorow bright n early. Thanks Qballz.
I do not know if any numbers are pointing to it. But its the dotted line that goes from that cylinder under the filter box. And passes numbers 12 and 4. Someone here said I needed about a foot of tubing, how do I know what size tubing and where can i buy this??
two other quick questions.
For the unit number 6 is pointig to. Not just the little bronze plate, the whole tube (vfad?). Is it supposed to connect securely to the filter box, because I cant seem to make anything click.
And alos, does anyone know what size bolts those are holding that same piece to the car, I seemed to have lost them, thanks alot guys

Just a suggestion.... Use your digital camera to take a quick shot when u post these kinda questions, because it will make it easier for people to see what you're asking about.

i know what it is and where it goes now. I could not find a tube that would fit so I am planning on driving to the dealership like that and ask them to replace it. Is this a not so smart idea, will they give me BS for driving like that?
It wasnt necessary for the REvi, so it cant be that bad, right?

ok,
here you go. standing on the pass side in front of the wheel. look at the first photo it should look the same.
you do not have the red wire running in the photo.
you should see the red cap the is just above where the two larger rubber hoses cross, above the zip tie holding the red wire you dont have.
that is where the hose connects you can also use the silver that attaches to the plastic intake manifold as a reference.
pic 2 is a closer shot.
hope this helps.

hey,
Just to be safe I would stay away from the dealership for now from what I now though this post might be a bit late. Also most of the bolts within the engine compartment are 10mm. From what you told me you should still have the vfad installed unless the revi requires you to take it out....Anybody know for sure???
Also where are we on the speakers?
