is this right? and if so does this work?

One of the most knowledgeable on the ignition system is Charles R. Hill (forum name) of BHR. You can PM him.
If I remember correctly, the mounting bolts for the coils are not a ground path for the ignition. If that is true, it would be a waste of money.
