HKS Hi Power for what is that spring?

Hello
i am from germany, my english is not very good. sry

I bought a HKS Hi Power Exhaust, from a user in this Forum.
And i have one question, for what is that spring?
In the Manual is nothing in it from a spring.

Here are some pictures, sorry for the quality, that was with my Mobilephone.

in order for the exhaust seals to sit right, they use springs to hold the tension of the bolt and nut tightening. let me know if you need more of an explanation

Shouldn't there be 2 springs tho? One for each bolt...

yea there should be 2, and they should be a thicker guage of wire.

thanks for the answer, but i have one spring, not 2.
the spring is not small, that is a big spring.
the spring has a size from a Sony K800 Mobilephone.

hmm, thats wierd. and you can just re-use the springs from the stock exhaust for it. but if i were you i would look up HKS and call them to see what it is, or ask the person you bought it from

Some exhaust hang too low and rattle.

Isn't this spring there to help prevent that?

Connect it to the frame.

It looks to me like you got a wastegate spring inside your box! 1405-RA036 is replacement wastegate spring for an HKS Racing Wastegate http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=767. It was probably shipped in the exhaust box by mistake.

so that is not for the exhaust.
so i can sold this spring? I have no turbo
