gauges

Hey guys had a quick question. I want to install some gauge like oil pressure but some of the ones im looking at say that they are for a golf gti or a lancer evo. Does this matter at all because its just a sensor going to the oil pan i would assume unless the connectors are different. Anyways if anyone could help me out that would be great.

Also what are some important gauges that i should have?

Since it appears like you're inexperienced with this, let me direct you to a DIY that will be helpful to you and prepare you for the installation:
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...light=prosport
This also provides a "parts list" for you.
Read through this and I'll likely answer many questions you might have.
Since I'm not boosted, I monitor oil temp, oil pressure, and water temp.

The gauge company (ProSport Gauges) is a member here and really nice guys who will help you out with any questions:

I use their oil sandwich plate that combines the oil pressure and temp and it simply installs under the oil filter.
These gauges combined with a Lotek pod looks great IMO.
You can have the color switch when the vehicles lights are on or off like illustrated here:

I stole these pics from another thread since I've actually never taken pics of my pod/gauges.

There is also the RB pod (comes with or without gauges) that can give a bit more of a sleeper look (I say this since many have yet to notice the gauges in my car even after they've been in it sever times and the gauges have been there for months haha).
