Question FEED Intake and HKS Twin Power Ignition ?'s

Does anyone have one of these? If so, I need a sound clip, because I would love to buy one if it sounds good.

Also, I was wondering about the HKS Twin Power Ignition. What is the point of it? Does it replace the entire ignition system which is similar to the Mazsport ignition upgrade? Thanks.

1. Yes, someone has it. Search
2. The point of Twin power is an additional item that sits between your ECU and ignition coils to increase igniting power by Storing power in the unit. It does help.but depends on what you want to do with it. It does not replace stock system. Unlike Mazsport.

Why are you being such an ***? I have been on this forum for a while and always search before I ask a question, especially one that hasn't been repeated a 1000 times. I have been looking for a videoclip for this intake for months, and so far no one has given me info. If you have any please tell me, otherwise leave and go **** off some of the newbs.

The HKS unit is a good upgrade if you stick with the stock ignition...problem is it is about the same price as the upgraded ignitions......

Yeah that's what I was thinking. It is probably just worth it to get Mazsport's Ignition Upgrade.

I just bought an HKS Twin Power for my FD because I was having ignition breakup at higher RPMs. So far, I've heard nothing but positive things about it; but it's a little pricey...

The HKS is a good product it just doesnt fix the RX8's ignition problem which happens to be the coils.

Are the FE's coils as shitty as the FD's? I'm personally contemplating going with the FC's in mine...

You get about 30K miles out of the coils if you're not tracking and even when they work well you will still get misfires at high RPM in high heat conditions. If you track your car at all it's a good investment.

I am sure the ls2 coils will work well but with mazsport you get everything you need to install in one nice package.

I think the first step to make stock ignition to work better is to move them ALL AWAY from the engine !

Im thinking to custom cut some pieces to make that happen ...
