On the E-Manage (when it is properly set up for the RX-8, or any other car for tha matter), a negative number in the airflow MAP leans the mix and a positive richens it.
Are you saying the CZ does not do this?
If this is the case, can you tell me what your second and third rotary switch positions are (inside the unit)? I'm curious - this may point to why the units react so differently form car to car but the E-Manage tuned my way does not.
They should be set A-A-2 or A-A-1 (or, alternately, B-A-2 or B-A-1).
If they are not, don't change them, just report back here.

Heres what Maurice said when I asked him about this..........
Quote:
With MAF ( hotwire) one actually has 32 increments or decrements of fuel.
So, 1%, 2%,3% are all the same setting when you look at the actual voltage output change.
With FLAP it has 56 steps each side, so 1% and 2% are the same, but 3% yields a new output.
But, a FLAP is a 5V output when no activity/airflow, and at 0V when saturated.
A MAF is at 0V with no output, and up to 5V when fully saturated.
So, one uses positive numbers to take away fuel on a flap, and negative numbers with a MAF.
Both will work, but one gets finer gradation in adjustment with the FLAP setting.

So the emanage that comes with the Greddy turbo kit can be tuned the same way as the CZ ecu? I know I'll have to have the emanage tool, but will I be able to change the AFR and stuff with the Emanage?
Thanks,
Jamie
