Electronic Throttle Controller

Basically plugs into the chip on the gas pedal changing the reaction of the throttle opening to the amount the pedal is pressed down. Any Opinions? I found a few

so you want to spend money that allows you to adjust how sensitive your gas pedal is?

how about more sensitive input with your foot?

I know Jay from EVO-R is using the Buddy Club one and he likes it. It can be used to advance and retard the throttle opening based on pedal position. So it can be used for economy mode as well as quicker pedal response.

To each his own.

Yeah someone bought this a while back and it worked but they complained the throttle was very touchy.

it modifies the accelerator pedal position sensor voltage. On a lot of cars you can actually change the drive by wire control logic directly by editing the tables in the ECU.

I think this would be a good application if you were married or a similar, where someone else is driving you car. To the end that you could retard the sensitivity and act as a direct limiter.
