Deatschwerks 300+ LPH fuel pump

I tried doing some searching and didnt find anything on this fuel pump posted anywhere.
I have heard the failure rate on the Walbro pumps is higher than it should be and I was looking for an alternative.
The fuel pump is not something I have too much information about so I dont know if this will fit or not.
Has anyone tried using one of these in the RX8 yet?

Here is the link for the part in case you guys wanna see some specs.

I apoligize in advance if this is a noob question and I have my flamesuit handy.

I thought there wasnt a specific Walbro one that fit the rx8 either. But that another application or the universal one was able to fit.
I guess I really must suck at searching if there was an rx8 specific one.

It is a good pump and a direct replacement for the Walbro.

And it will completely DESTROY the regulator in the OE pump assembly.

ahh. DESTROY is not something that will be good. Well thanks for chiming in. I guess I will have to go with the Walbro one after all.

too strong?
Maybe it would be a good choice for someone converting to a return type system and external fp regulator?
