Who cares? You're only going to see it when you check the oil. (unless you actually cut a hole in the bumper, of course.) If anyone gives you **** about it, tell them it works well, and if they want something pretty they should go jewelry-shopping with their boyfriend.

On my Passat, one of the most popular intake mods was to drill holes in the stock airbox and run some vacuum-cleaner hose down to the bottom of the bumper, because the engine bay was so cramped there was no way to run an aftermarket CAI. It looked super-ghetto but it worked just fine.

best custom intake is teamrx8s toaster box intake.

WCS - That is the upgraded model . Original model used a toilet paper roll but testing showed the paper towel roll version increased throttle response substantially .
