Got it on today , here's video sample:

here's some pix
What can I say....it is what you would expect for $220 , it looks cheap but it sounds good enough...

These no name companies are what is putting the larger companies out of business. Sad times! Good find though! Custom ES tips is a good idea (tips will be almost the same cost as the exhaust :P )

The truth is that exhaust is going to add any major HP with our cars so I dont want to spend $800 on something that does excatly the same as thing for $220. If I decide to go turbo I will look at high end exhaust or if it would be different car when exhaust actually makes performance difference. For RX8 , this exhast gives me exactly what I wanted (SOUND), and you cant beat $220.

Just installed my exhaust yesterday, ordered the ultra-rev "brand" lol.
The exhaust videos posted above me really do the exhaust no justice, it's something you have to hear in person to appreciate.
Fitment is great, aside from having to cut the shrouds on both sides, and bending the exhaust tips up or down to get them centered in the shroud.
It is fairly light, in comparison to the stock exhaust, maybe 10-15lbs less?
Exhaust note is perfect, nice and deep in the low RPM's, really screams up top, but it is not obscenely loud, the right volume in my opinion.
Quality is surprisingly good for $200. If i were to have this system welded up by a local exhaust shop, it would be at least double in price.
I used to have a JIC Titanium catback, and that was perfect in every way. The new exhaust, unfortunately for JIC, sounds much better everywhere in the rev range.
My only gripe is the tips are thin walled. My JIC had thin walled tips, as does this one, but getting new tips installed should be really cheap, compared to welding titanium to titanium.
Overall, best exhaust per price for the RX8. They are all for sound, and this one sounds perfect. It really sounds like an RX vehicle now, i am VERY happy with the purchase.

Just put mine on last night from 4caroption. The fitment was great. no problems. Perfect sound for me. Idle sounds the same, under load it makes a nice deep tone. Pretty quiet from in the car as well. I recommend using some mothers aluminum polish to get it shined up and protected. I live in texas so I shouldn't have to worry about salt eating up the mufflers. So far happy with the buy.

I trimmed the exhaust shroud a bit where it was near the tips.
I think much of the reason people argue about this stuff is:
