I'm glad to see we're getting these issues resolved. I appreciate everyone's patience with the troubleshooting process.

Ditto for me. I've been problem free since I installed mine in October. Impressions are the same as from day 1. Granted, my ride has seen less than 2000 miles since the install...I guess I should actually drive the car sometime!

I occasionally get hot start issues, but it happens a couple times before I installed the BHR coils. I think I have a partially blocked cat

I finally got around to installing my coil upgrade tonight after having it since December and it only took me about an hour to do it.
My first impressions are that the car idles better and it just runs a hell of alot better. The real test is when I take it to Nurburgring this weekend hopefully they will fix my top end problem of the car bogging down.

^^What he said.
And, be sure to check all the other things that might cause your high rpm problems in case you don't solve it with the coils

is your BHR ignition installed? Some dealerships might frown on it. (just an FYI)

That's exactly what I'm looking forward too.

Are they relocating where the coils go? Mine are set up where they don't use spark plug wires its all one unit.

OK, I was wondering about that. I have so much **** in my engine bay right now I have no idea where I would put a set of coils at. But it is interesting that I could do that if my current ones ever go bad.

Well then!
I would really love to drive in some of your tracks and see what "problems" my car might have there. I had to work a bit on it to avoid having some of the issues that a street car always has on our tracks. Since i installed this upgrade i can finish a session without engine lights on for misfires

My car is sitting at the local Mazda service center right now. I dropped it off this morning for the hot start issue and when I called them this afternoon, the service manager said they were in the process of doing a series of compression tests. They were also testing the starter. I asked for a new starter initially, and hopefully that's all I'll need. So far they've said nothing about my coils.

Again, I'll post here when they tell me what's going on with it.

New Battery fixed my hot start issue - well it was never an issue but now I touch the ignition and the car starts...

Misfires are better but not gone... gonna look at the tune some more.

Yeah the whole thing is wierd.... I am gonna prolly go old school on my tuning and keep pulling fuel until the AFR's stabilize - the motor blows or I get rid of the misfires...
