Could you tell me how it would help the development of your supercharger, if I bought a short-shifter for my RX-8?

Thanks to Vice^grip.

faffy, aside from helping pay the rent? There is something, it introduces you to our products and commitment to customer service. When exposed to the quality and pleasure of using it every day you become a fan. Fans follow the development of the SC and if they go FI will more likely go with the Axial Flow.

'nough flag waving.

Too funny...when I suggested that this would work last year you gave me a hard time

Ahh yes, but while you gave me the idea now I took it one further and did not undo the right rear bad guy clip first. I just went right for all the others and the rr one was mute! This way you don't bother with the rr one at all.

I didn't give you a hard time over it, I just was shocked that you tried it.

Richard, I'll hold off changing that aspect of the DIY until we get a little more feedback from others who have tried it your way.

It might just be that you yank in a certain way that prevents any broken clips....while Joe Public snaps a clip 50% of the time when he does it that way. As it stands now, the DIY has a slow and steady approach.

Cheers,

Gomez.

I just got one of Polak's shift boots, so I tried the "yank the shift boot" method and it worked like a charm. This is the third time I've removed the console though, and even though I've yanked at the rr clip pretty hard, it never broke. This way, I think you're more likely to pull it evenly and distribute the force through all four clips.

Money has been sent. I am looking forward to the shifter, but most of all I would like to support the supercharger.

Hey, do I get a commission (or a discount) or something? Because it seems like sales skyrocketed right after my post

Yea, get off his turf. As always your check is in the mail Gomez.
No wait............. it's stuck in the computer.

I don't think you can call it skyrocketing but I'll add it up at the end of the month.
We'll take an honest look and see how it worked out.

No, it's not.

Do it yourself......lots more satisfaction that way.

Even young girls have installed it by following my DIY.........

It has nothing to do with sex or age for me. It has to do with not being mechanically inclined.

If you know how to turn a screwdriver or tighten bolts, then you will know how to install this marvel to RX-8 owners.
